Bill Neill had treated the field at the entrance station with herbicide, but didn't spray where
Yerba Mansa is growing, because it is a native plant. In the untreated areas we had to pull
the perennial pepperweed by hand. The result can be seen at the bottom, where you can
now see the Yerba Mansa with ripgut brome, another non-native.
